New Feature Release:
Thumbnail Preview
When posting a listing at the
Web Market, there are several fee-based visibility options
that can raise the prominence of your listings. Before you
actually submit your listing, you are able to select one, or
all of these options.
One visibility option "bold my ad" is automated into the
program. The other two options are the SHOWCASE PREVIEW
GALLERY and the brand new THUMBNAIL PREVIEW option. These
options are entered manually during administrative
review and usually take up to 48 hours to take effect.*
Of course, a full-size image has to have already been
posted in order to facilitate either of these features.
The Thumbnail Preview option
is a popular feature requested from our real estate users.
After evaluating the cost of
upgrading the e-classifieds software that powers our
listings section, it was decided that a manual "work-around"
would best suit the needs of our customers, even though
there are some limitations. The end result is a $7.50 per
listing visibility feature charge for those who want it
(versus a global price increase for all listings to cover
the $900 per year cost of supported software enhancements).
Users who select the
THUMBNAIL PREVIEW feature will create their details and ad
text just as before, but will see some added html coding in
the details section if returning to modify the text of the
listing, after the feature has been added. Users should be
careful not to change the coding when modifying, but only
the actual text of the listing which will be between the
<html> and </html> tags.
We hope this new enhancement
will serve the needs of our customers, while keeping the
overall pricing structure reasonable.
If you wish to add the
Thumbnail Preview Feature to 8 or more existing listings you
will receive a 20% discount ($6.00 ea.) when you email us
here. You will need to provide the ad numbers in the
body of the email, and you can also specify which image you
would like as the thumbnail preview. Any unspecified preview
will default to the first image.

Due to the
large number of spammers who attempt to abuse
mywebmarket.com, all listings are previewed by admin before
they are viewable to the general public. Showcase Preview
Gallery and Thumbnail Preview features are added at that
time.
