Well folks, the January featured pontiled soda (if it can be considered a soda) is a real mystery. And behind that mystery is a story I cannot tell, as well as pics I cannot completely reveal. This item was the property of a known ale, porter and mineral bottler but in a previously unlisted mold and form. Is it a modified pint? A bitters 5th?
That's all the clue I'll give for now--the pics are a partial giveaway. They might have to be removed in a moments notice so if they no longer appear above, that is what happened.
So the January FPS proves that previously unknown products of the Baltimore Glass Works do come up about every ten years or so. First it was the Ed Walsh, then the Cole & Chickering, now this. Maybe not be quite as nice as if it was a Baltimore bottler, but probably almost worth what I offered. Luckily, I found another Baltimore piece more within my range...
Anyway, I tried to top the December Bryan's like I said I would. This might do it for some, not for others, but it stands as the January 2008 FPS.
