Community Events--Florida Dentists Donate Used Dental Equipment

In order to help re-allocate unwanted dental equipment to areas of unmet need throughout Florida, Project Dentists Care (a Florida Dental Association Charitable Initiative) has established an online "Dental Equipment Clearinghouse" where used or replaced dental equipment, available for pick-up and removal, will be displayed on the FDA web site. Interested parties will then contact you directly to arrange pick-up and removal of unwanted, but servicable items. This initiative not only strengthens Project: Dentists Care's ability to provide care to the underserved, but may also reduce or eliminate the equipment donor's removal costs and effort. This is a great cause and a great way to help reduce the tax burden of full practice renovations (you should consult with a tax professional regarding the possible tax benefits of your equipment donation). At the URL link below, you can submit a description of the unwanted items and specify a pickup deadline. This is just one of the many ways that we are marketing this initiative. Your unwanted equipment WILL BE SEEN by folks who can use it, to help the needy.
