Community Events--Tallahassee's FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS and 17th annual Jingle Bell Run

For this year, 2007 the festival falls on Saturday, December the 1st from 3-10pm. One of the reasons that Tallahassee won it's national award in 2004 for having the BEST PARKS IN AMERICA can be traced back to the original concept envisioned by Cellular One and Randy Truesdale of Parks & Rec.(retired) to raise money for Tallahassee's Parks & Recreation by jointly sponsoring a downtown race to benefit TOYS for TOTS and the Parks (to fund inclusive or handicap-friendly park improvements).
